The wheel travels inside the link after #, which is never sent to our server.

Set the lowest and highest number, or tap a quick range, then spin.

How to spin a random number

    1. Tap a quick range (1–10, 1–20, 1–50, 1–100, 1–1000) or type your own lowest and highest number and press Set range. Ranges can hold up to 10,000 numbers.
    2. Spin. The result window shows the number in large type.
    3. For a draw without repeats, turn on Remove the winner automatically in Options. Every number then comes up once.

Big ranges like 1 to 1000

With hundreds of numbers the slices get thin, so the wheel hides labels that would not fit. Every number still has a slice of exactly the same size and the same chance; the winning number is always shown in full in the result window and in the Results tab.

What people use a number wheel for

    • Raffle ticket and door prize numbers
    • Bingo-style calls with no repeats
    • Choosing a page, a seat, a question or a turn order
    • Calling students by their class number
    • Dice-free board games: set 1–6 for one fair die (a 2–12 wheel is not the same as two dice, which roll 7 most often)

    Questions

How do I spin a number between 1 and 100?

Tap the 1–100 button (or type 1 and 100 and press Set range), then spin.

Can the same number come up twice?

By default yes, because every spin is independent. Turn on “Remove the winner automatically” in Options and each number comes up only once.

Can I spin the wheel with numbers 1 to 1000?

Yes. Tap 1–1000. A wheel can hold up to 10,000 numbers.

    Is every number equally likely?

Yes. Every number has a slice of the same size and the same chance. See the fairness test.
